If you don't know already, I've been posting Let's plays of some games I like to play where I commentate and have general fun on my youtube channel. Still learning the ropes of recording and entertaining while gaming but its great fun and it looks like I'll be doing it for while. What I've decided to add to my channel is something you guys might like: a speedy recording of me working in photoshop (Whateveritiscalled) In the future I might record more things, where I digital paint, where I go from sketch to fully finished piece and who knows what. Feel free to bring up suggestions here or by commenting on the videos. Be sure to like and subscribe if you enjoy what you see!

In other news not much is happening except daily work, and trying to get back into drawing mode as you might see by some of the sketches I've uploaded. I'm "training" for when I take on the final sketches for the childrens book of mine. The rough ones are ready for each page, I just need to sit down and draw the final ones that I'll ink and color. Oh, and I haven't decided how I'm going to color it so that is still in progress. The video I just linked was a practice if I should perhaps do it lineless, almost vector like?

Got married on the 7th of July and couldn't be happier. We are taking our honeymoon in October to Boston and we can't wait! With all the wedding stuff behind us I have time for new projects and hoping to start drawing again. I've been trying to doodle to get me going and hopefully I'll whip out my tablet and start practising coloring again since I haven't done it proberly for aaages! I got my whole children's book all written and sketched out but the reason I've not taken it further for this many months is because I felt I couldn't color it the way I wanted to. Now I just need to practice and find the right method.
Other news are that I've started uploading some "Let's play: MINECRAFT" videos to youtube for the heck of it. Wanted to try something different yet was fun and since I'm really into minecraft lately I thought why not. It gives me a chance to fiddle with video editing again (MAN I SUCK!) & forces me to make some fan-art for the game to use for the intro 8D
Feel free to check it out and like, comment or subscribe if you like what you see. Thinking of update'ing daily or up to 5x a week to begin with. I'm working on bringing out my true silly self but its odd that I'm incredibly SHY at the microphone.... :shy: so stay with me here, I know I'll be more confident the more I record....hopefully O.o

Wait..wha...whoo..when? I apparently ran through 40k pageviews without noticing..... anyone caught it? If not I'll have to have a contest or something once I finish my children's book. Would be awesome to host a contest and have one of the prizes be my book (in Icelandic most likely mind you...) We'll have to see

Oh noes! My page has turned plain and normal again D: But fear not, once I become active again I'll get another membership. Until then... hello ...green :<
I've not fallen quite off the radar but I've not had anything to show here on DA so I've just been lurking in the background while driving to drive up my energy to work on all my projects. My energy has been so low these past weeks that just sketching up one page is a victory. It might have something to do with my slow thyroid, it could be slowing even more down which would explain why I'm always so drained and useless. Need to get another blood sample checked out soon. What I HAVE been doing is illustrating the children's book I'm working on about Po&Pipp! So far I got rough sketches of all the pages and I'm moving up to refining them and getting them ready for scanning so I can start taking them to the next stage. Thankfully I have a very patient future husband who helps me with ideas, critiques on how to improve each page and supports me all the way. I wouldn't have finally off my lazy arse if it weren't for him. Oh and my sister HildurKO who published HER fantasy novel last winter! Only in Icelandic so far but here is crossing fingers she'll get published across the globe in no time! You go sis!
Other things I've been up to is planning my wedding which is lurking closer and closer! Eeek! I got most of the essentials booked and ready though there is one tiny, little, itsy, bitsy thing I've yet to finish and is soooo unlike me...THE CAKE! Oh fuuuuuddge! I know it is 4 months away but I hear if you gotta book early if you want the cake of your dreams as July is most likely quite a busy season when it comes to weddings...especially since its the only month that has any decent weather here in Iceland imo.
I've got a few other little projects that I can't discuss as I don't to jinx them but hopefully 2012 will be full of amazing things coming my way and perhaps you'll start seeing "Cilitra" all over the place in a few years. Here is hoping!
And as I've mostly been sketching Po and the rest of the gang from the book and you won't be able to see any of it until I get it published (sorry! Better safe then sorry) I thought I'd yell out that I'll be posting some sketches over at my facebook page (facebook.com/cilitra) if you are interested. I reckon I won't be that active here on DA for a bit with all the chaos in my life but I'll try to post to fb all the nifty stuff I can share and other fun things I run across in my daily Internet surf. I like to share the cuteness found on the interwebs and if you like anything cute or want links to fun tutorials be sure to check me out on facebook!
